Congratulations! We look forward to meeting you and your newborn.

*Please note that only Dr. Mona Bagrodia and Dr. Kara Hutton at our 4S Ranch location are currently accepting new patients. The doctors at our Del Mar and Carmel Valley locations are closed to new patients for the time being.

We care for newborns at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.  When registering for your admission, please list Coast Pediatrics 4S Ranch or the individual doctor’s name as your pediatrician. The hospital will notify us when your new baby arrives. We will visit your newborn each morning until you go home.

If delivered at a different facility, your baby will be cared for by pediatricians on staff at that hospital. Once you leave the hospital, we would be delighted to take over.

To register your newborn for our 4S practice ahead of time, follow our step by step guide to self-registration on our Join Coast Pediatrics 4S Ranch webpage; use your baby’s due date as the date of birth (we will change later if needed).

Your newborn’s first office visit will be 1-3 days after leaving the hospital. Please call our office to schedule this appointment when you are discharged.  To save time at your first appointment, here are some forms you may want to review before your visit.  To save even more time, print them at home and fill out/sign in advance of your visit.
